About R2G2
Working From an R2G2 Platform
Over the recent years, R2G2 has analysed groups of applications and distilled them into a set of specifications for flexible and powerful control module cores. Each core has been developed into a fully functional platform which includes the hardware of the circuit board, connectors and enclosure, and the software of the R2OS operating system, library routines, basic application and support tools. Each core is ready to be tailored for a range of demanding high-speed real-time embedded applications in a short timescale development process.
Software
For each, we port our well-proven R2OS into the new hardware, so that R2Scope, our extensive communication and diagnostic tool, works seamlessly with all platforms. The key features of R2OS, developed for military applications, include fully defined in-house written and tested code,
The R2ZEN core is the result of our expertise in electronic hardware design for demanding situations, and includes resources to cater for the majority of automotive and industrial applications, with interfaces for embedded vehicle systems and fuel injection management. It is designed to function consistently in severe environments and can be incorporated into low profile high density modules.
R2VEC is a slightly larger core with a powerful expansion capability. Its proven track record makes it the favourite for high-reliability tasks.
For systems requiring fewer interfaces and greater compactness, the R2LITE has been designed to offer fast processing for real-time complex control. Its optimised architecture also minimises component count and cost.
